Fiji’s Coral Coast is a tropical paradise and has a coastline made up of pristine crystal clear water bays and white sandy beaches. Protected from the pacific ocean by the barrier reef system, it boasts numerous quality inner and outer reef breaks which would make any surfer froth. During the wind season it’s a kitesurf wave riding paradise, with consistent 20 knot SE trade winds blowing.
Spoilt with kiting options there are many breaks to choose from, some famous like Cloudbreak, Namotu lefts, and Frigates, some lesser known and even a couple of hidden gems. Take the opportunity to learn from the best during our outer reef boat missions, and get all the hints and tips on how to safely and confidently boat launch. One of the simplest and most popular options on offer is a mid-afternoon 20 km down winder with boat support. Leisurely linking up numerous breaks, finishing off with cold beers on the beach at sunset.
Through detailed analysis of swell and wind forecasts and our and local knowledge, we will determine and place you at the best breaks for you to kite. Giving you every opportunity to make the most out the conditions on offer. Ensuring the highest possible wave counts, and best available wave quality during the safari, is always the winning formula to keep any kitesurfer STOKED…
Wave Coaching will be run over a 6 day period, and will cover all aspects of wave riding. Each morning before the wind kicks in (D.D.) will run the group through key theory components, along with analysing the previous days video footage to assist with progressive rider feedback.
D.D. has solid experience using Gopro’s to capture photos and film of one’s self whilst waveriding. He is also happy to run you through setups, mounting, and general tips to help you capture amazing results with your own. Check out our gallery section on the homepage to see what is possible with your gopro.
